For me, I prefer the TearDrop S&S style, I just think there is nothing more beautiful than this.

I have 1 Chrome and 1 black, and I alter between them, I put them on a Doherty PowerPacc Air Cleaner with S&S back plate, you can get lots of kits online for that.

Seen this one? Not extremely open, but looks great IMHO.

SOrry Newbee question here...

Can you do this with the stock air cleaner/cover, or do you need the SE etc.?

Always looking for new cheap things to set my Lo apart

You set the standard so high with your bike by doing so many chrome goodies and high dollar mods that you are going to have to spend some major cash to make the bike look evened out. If you try to use a cheap way out it could (notice I said "could") bring your bikes beauty down a bit. Spend the money now or wish you had latter. Get the PM cleaner, My 02 cents worth.

I replaced my football with a CD. 'Borrowed' one from my son at first, then changed it for a brand new blank one at work. The new one sure does shine and sparkle all different colors!

Where do I get a SE sock for it? Part number?

You will have to get a SE kit. If you go through www.fuelmotousa.com, they package it with a K&N filter which IMO looks better than the SE filter

Slammedfatboy, like your hot rod style ride. The blacked out look with the red sheet metal looks mean. The open filter fits your hot rod, no frills style. Keep it open....
