This is funny. I just came in from the garage and pulled my football cover off 5 minutes ago. I like the look with out it. There is a guy on here who will cut the center of your football out so it will fit. I can't find his name but someone will know.

I've riden hundreds of miles in the rain without any issue. I don't use a rain sock and I don't even cover it when I wash the bike.

I have ridden it in the rain and had the bike sit in a down pour at a clubhouse, then rode it home in the rain. No issues at all.

2kids3pets, your bike is screaming for an PM air cleaner. If you want an open look.

I think the Arlen Ness are also like the above cleaners.
Your bike is way too classy to have a standard or run of the mill filter.
Just my .02 worth.

You gotta run the air filter sock on it in wet weather.
My friend runs his Screamin' Eagle air filter sock all the time and has no problem at all with bugs or wet weather.
Bobby.

Looks nice but I'm in the rain way to much for an open cover but I like the look.

Nice looking "Deuce" you've got there !
Where did you get your chrome swingarm covers and who's are they ?
Thanks,
Bobby.

Not covers, the swing arm was removed and chromed at a local shop.

The K&N has oil on it and repels the water. The SE does not have oil on it but is washable so it absorbs water. I just don't know though how long I would push my luck in the rain, lol

I just did the same thing! I am going to see what I can whittle up at work tomorrow to cover the air cleaner.

I like those PM parts, just a bit pricey for my blood.

Open forsure. I would purchase the rain sock just in case. Its easy enough to remove or install for longer trips.
