Default Blue grease ?

so i took the scoot in for the 5,000 mile service, and after a couple small rides to work and around town, i notice blue grease on my breather, and then look and see that i have alot of it coming out around the bearings on the lower neck. im wondering if this is from over greasing it and it will stop, or is there a seal there that has blown, and needs to go back to the stealer?

Most likely over greased. You'll be wiping it off after every ride for awhile. Some guys get too agressive with their grease guns either that or they want you to be a real greasemonkey.

sorta...it is common to see a little grease from the steering head bearing but it should stop in awhile. At least the dealer greased it!!! Better too much that none. I use lucas "red n tacky #2. I pump head full until i see grease at the top and bottom. Works great...no runs, after the first wipe or two. My preference!!

i grease my own and yes it comes out once and then it is good until a 100+ day and another bike wash and it is gone. the dealer says to use the blue grease but there are so many. i went with marine wheel bearing grease that i used to get for my boat.
