Years ago I was a delivery truck driver in KC Kansas, and I was behind a motorcycle cop at a four lane red light. Right beside him was an 18 wheeler, with the duals on the tractor just a couple of feet from the cop. Then the light changed and we all started moving forward. About that time, this stupid kid runs the red light coming from our right, hits the front of the semi tractor, jacknifes the tractor knocking the cop off his motorcycle. He did not have the strap on his helmet buckled, and the helmet went flying into the service station on the corner. The kid pulled over and stopped, which was stupid again, because the cop was really really mad. I did not stick around, but I imagine that poor stupid kid is in jail some where that they have to pipe daylight to him. No one seemed to be hurt, and it was kind of funny to watch.

 

this year in Phoenix a dump truck driver killed 4 and he hit a group of bikes from behind on a clear day.

 

That was just wrong. Things like that make you consider just what would be deemed as justafiable homicide.

 

My wife and I had just rode all the way to Sturgis. We pulled into the parking lot of our hotel and were sitting on the scoot, waiting for people who were unloading their bikes or getting ready to leave. Suddely I heard my wife say, Oh ****. Next thing I know we're both on the ground and my scoot's lying on it's side. A young girl had backed out of a parking space and nailed us. Only damage was a bent left turn signal and a scratched windsheild and rider peg. Several riders came running up and helped my wife up and helped with the scoot. It took more effort trying to keep my wife from hitting this b!*ch then anything else. She addmitted that she didn't even look before pulling out.
