Angry Small Oil Leak

Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone could give me tips on stopping this pesky oil leak ?

The small drain plug for the gear oil (primary side) wont stop leaking - ive inspected the o-ring around the allen screw and it appears to be fine - ive even put teflon tape around the threads for double protection but it still leaks ecpecially when the engine is hot , my bike was used when i got it and whoever had it before had the allen screw way to tight.
Nearest dealership is just to far away to just to replace that one small part.
Any stop leak advice out there??

Thanks!

Use teflon paste. in your Home Depot plumbing section.
It will say it is a white thread lubricant .. and it does
not suppose to dry hard,,,stays soft.
Put it on the last couple/three thread towards the outside of
the bolt.
couldn't stop my transmission from leaking.
Teflon Tape just disintigrated from the Syn 3
got it stopped with the teflon paste.

Check and see if it is dripping down the inside of the primary first. It could be coming from somewhere else.

Ok, mine apears to be dripping down from inside the primary. Did I over fill it? it looks like it is open in there. It is really hard to see, even with a mirror. I have an '05 Heritage and it started right after I change the primary, oil, and tranny fluid. Never had a leak before. Any ideas?

Loctite PST Liquid Thread Sealant
Locks and seals threaded fittings. Resists leakage, vibration loosening, moisture; lubricates threads for easy assembly & disassembly. Includes Teflon ® and an ingredient, but won’t shred like Teflon ® tape. Great for oil, fuel and brake fittings; suited for temperatures up to 400F.

Works for me. You should also get a new plug. If the dealer is too far, order on line from Zanotti's.

If you did not have an inner primary leak before you changed, you shouldn't have one now. I would be looking at every thing you touched when you changed the fluids last.

I had the same problem earlier this year. I tried the paste and that didnt work, I put a new ring that didnt fix it so the final answer was a new plug from the HD dealer.

Make sure and get the heat resistant kind. Primary fluid gets pretty hot.
