Yeah, you are right, the manuals for the softail deluxe are $35.00, but for the heritage they are still $60.00. Guess I could get the $35.00 on and wing it, eh?

The whole thing is designed to get you to go into the stealer and hopefully do some impulse buying.

Are there any changes is what's in the service manual for 2010? It's weird that the others years manuals are $60 but 2010 is $35.

Maybe they took some stuff out so you'll have to go to the dealer more........j/k

Guess what? It's NOT $35! I went into the dealer today, and had them call Harley up, with me standing there. Apparently, this is an error that Harley will not even reimburse dealers for. So, if a dealer sells it to you for the $35, they are taking a loss.

So, HD should be changing the price online by the end of the day.

Also, my local dealer offerred to sell me one for $45 plus tax for my troubles. I'm not so sure if I even want to spend that knowing I could still potentially get one for less. Any suggestions on that?

Well...DocJ was right. The prices have gone back up to $60 on the HD site. But my credit card has already been charged the $38.77 so I'm hoping they'll honor it and I can still pick it up. But I haven't recieved my email saying that yet. So...I'm guessing I'll be notified that they won't honor the price. But I think I should still get it. We'll see...

Any update as far as, where you able to get the manual for the $35? I'm still bummed that I can't get it for that. Apparently, my dealer isn't part of the online system either...oh, well. I think they are offering it to me at cost for $45. I might just take it, as that seems to be the best deal I can get from anywhere. I'm still waiting for it to come in, as the dealership had to order a couple more.

I haven't been able to get over to pick mine up yet. I'm hoping they'll honor the purchase. My credit card was charged 3 days ago. I'll go by there on Friday and see.
