I've ridden on both... Baker (5-year warranty?) that's a no-brainer if you can afford it. How many times have you beaten the dealer for a Harley warranty? Me, once, because I demonstrated that they switched parts on my bike while it was there.

If this 5 speed does not work out I'll get a Baker, but money is extremely important right now as there is not much to go around. LOL.

There is a good article in this month's American Iron Magazine about lubricants. From what I have seen on this forum, a lot of people need to read it. It follows what I have learned from manufacturers when I worked at a parts store. It will answer much of the commentary and questions that you will find here.
