Rear spoke rims
Are there any disadvantages to running spoke rims on a rear? Anyone have any troubles or hear of any troubles?

I'd like to get mags, but I dont want to spend 1200 per mag when I get a rear spoke rim for 600.

Having to run the tube and being aware of spoke tension and always checking air pressure. Only things besides cleaning them i dislike as much

They've been used on Harleys for 107 years. If they didn't work they wouldn't use them.

40 spoke front and rear not only save you cash but look classic as hell when parked next to someones over done sled. I had a set of Landmark 40 spoke on an 07 FXSTC that I had and that bike always got tons of compliments.
