It's been said before but bears repeating. Unless one is very tall, the floorboards are almost forward controls. Placing feet towards the front, they are way beyond mid controls.

I love my boards but do need a bit more room. I think I will be going with these.

I took the floor boards off right away. I'm kinda tall and find the 3" exended forwards to be much more comfy, plus I think they look better too.

If you look around you will find almost endless different designs of boards, they have long and short and narrow and wide. Then there are all the different brackets to put the boards right where you want them .I have the HD streamliner that are extended 1" forward and am very happy with them.Of course my bike is not a "fatboy" it's a "FAT KNIGHT SPRINGER". lol

Chad,

How are you liking it w/o the balancers installed? Is that motor combination something you've done recently?

OK... For those of you that have installed the forward controls on your FatBoy or Heritage, did you have to extend the rear brake hose to reach the master cylinder? And if so, how many inches did you have to go with??

Thanks,

K.

Can I see a closer picture of your kickstand, and also one with it in the "up" position? Where did you get it?

Thanks,

K.
