Does it help keep the wind off you any ?
Which windshield do you have ?
I have a bad neck and lower back [pushed-out discs in the neck, and dead cartiledge in lower back] and the wind really makes them hurt a lot after awhile riding the bike. I didn't have that problem when I had a bike that had full fairing and touring windshield.
Thanks for your help,
Bobby.

Sorry for the delayed responce. It's a Quick release from Harley made for the Deuce, part #58779-05. I have back problems as well, five compressed vert.. Sheild does help with buffeting, forgot it when visiting a freind in Boulder and rode all the way back to Wichita without it, BIG difference.

Wheels are different. Minus the rack, get a solo seat, no need for a Rocker!!

Thanks Sucherman.
I was wondering how good of a difference it made ?
It's not really that all or wide of a windshield.
How's the buffetting ?
I had one stock windshield on one of my bikes that the wind buffeted so bad, your head looked like a bobble-head !
Thanks for your help, and ride safe.
Bobby.

How is the lower back support with the solo seat ?
I do long touring rides of 160-200+ miles without stopping, and have a bad lower back. L-3, L-4 and L-5 discs are shot. The stock seat isn't bad at first, but starts to really hurt the back around 80+ miles.
Thanks,
Bobby.

thanks, I built it myself, did everything but the paint, the #1 on the rear fender is the tailight, with the turn signals in the rear fender strut, rear brake is moved to left side of bike, all wiring thru frame, thats all gussetted and welded/molded, there's a ghosted in #1 on the gooseneck and not one weld shows I have way too much time in this puppy!! motor is 103"/106hp, 101 tq with those lousy pipes and intake, throttle is almost an on/off switch all those #'s happen within 3 sec. torque/hp go straight up
