You do realize thats the bike HA mainly rides, right? Thats why that is the bike of choice on the show and with most club guys. Its a "no non-sense" bike that can haul ***- most have some engine mods....
Set up to be slim for lane splitting the california hwys....

If you goto Kurt Sutter's blog, you will see that he was invited to Sonny Barger's b-day last year and Sonny as well as other HA members stated they A)watched the show B) it was a soap-opera but it was THEIR soap-opera. C) There are HA on the show as well as VAGOS and other club guys as extras as well as technical advisers

I think it's a good show as far as T.V. goes. The bikes are boring but the show isn't about the bikes nor is it about a motorcycle gang... it's a soap opera on two wheels.

The sound work is so bad that they all sound like they are eating pancakes all day long... just like most HOG groups! <grin> That's probably why they keep the bikes toned down so much... they can't afford good sound technology.

My wife likes watching the show with me, so that's a good thing. There has been some pretty good music on it, too. I bought a CD by one of the artists and it is really good.

The show is based on Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and will end the same way...

And I thought 81's choice of bikes were Electra Glide Standards or Street Glides?

I see So cal 81 on lots of different models, but most are almost stock dynas that have mid controls and 2-1 pipes. I don't think sutter chose those bikes on a whim. On the flip side, most of the Mongols bikes I have seen (which I assume the "mayans" are modeled after) seem to be deluxes and such.

I think it's funny how they say the bikes are really unique....they all look EXACTLY THE SAME (black Dyna, THeader exhaust, big risers with drag bars, mini-fairings) with the exception of the guy Bobby. It does make sense to ride a stripped-down, fast bike though...

They aren't unique... other than each have something different on their gas tank.
