Not the numerous posts I read. But everyone can do their own research and decide for themselves. I was just giving a heads up.

Just got back from an hour ride - and I have come to the conclusion that the Heritage Classic is the best bike I'll ever have.

It does everything I ask of it, rides as smoothly as anything I've ever ridden, and has more ground clearance than I expected. Yes, I touch down when riding aggressively, but when I'm riding it that aggressively I'm using the wrong bike. My sport bike is for that.

The bike amazes me every ride. Hard to believe how much I'm enjoying this bike.

Thanks to all for the helpful comments and suggestions. I've got some more research to do, but you've pointed me in the right direction.

I beg to differ, I have one on my 2010 Heritage and use it all of the time. It really helps when you are stuck in traffic which an oil cooler doesn't do when you are sitting still.

Glad you like your new scoot. I very much like my 09 Heritage. I took it cross country last June and it was very comfortable. One thing though, mine has that heat management system on it. You may want to check with your dealer, it may not have been activated. The touring bikes can be turned off or on by the owners but the others, softails have to be done by the dealer.

I bought an '02 Heritage back in January, replacing a '93 Sportster that I absolutely wore out.

I'll never buy anything else but another Heritage if I wear this one out.

KISS
