Are you sure you didn't hear him wrong ? Our local "stealer" dealer would have said more like $6,000 - $7,000. If it's for real, jump on it, you won't get another chance.
The $$$ to pay attention to is the difference between your trade and what the sale price of the new bike is . . .even so . . . the dealer must have a buyer for your bike waiting in the wings 'cause it definitely sounds like a good (although not great) deal for you.
