Dr..I have the Kuryakyn Speakers. They have the built in amp and I beleive they are 50 watts each. I rode from Long Island to Syracuse for the HOG rally. The sound was fine with the windshield. I was doing 70-75 and I could still make out the music and artist. I have them mounted on the handle bars. I have a friend that has them mounted on his highway bars and they are a total waste there if you do highway riding...you will not be able to hear them very well....riding around town...yes highway riding no

I have a Sirius radio attached to the speakers and I ONLY listen to channel 20 which is BONEYARD station,,,,only HEAVY METAL!!!

if you have any questions.....just ask!!

I will try and post some pics here as well as upload a video to youtube

Rode a Kawa 900 Vulcan from one HD to another a couple weeks ago with the Kuryakyn set up...sounds ok at low speed but at 60 or 65 it started to blurr...50 watts...maybe the 80 watts would be better....

it is 50 watts each speaker for a total of 100 watts...I think the other ones are 80 watts total or 40 watts each.....

and I rode on a 750 mile trip and at 70-75 the radio was sounding fine.....the windshield helps alot!!

The J&M's are 40 watts each speaker. Hogowner69, thanks for the pics and video. Where did you hook the power up? Did you use a toggle switch? No need to apologize, I appreciate the fact that you posted them. Thanks.
