Default rear fender and lowering

Ok, I'm wanting to change my rear fender on my 90 softail custom. I've been looking at the MI slim jims. I know if want it to look right you have to lower the bike. How does that effect the handling? When riding 2up will the tire hit the fender on bumps? Will scrap or bottom very easily? All of these questions are in respect to lowering the bike 2 inches.
Thanks,
Wes

My night train is lowered two inches, a speed bump or something of that nature will bottom out the forks if you don't go super slow. As for the rear, the wife hasn't been with me yet to test that out but I'm guessing it is probably gonna rub on a bump two up.
