crossbones cables
Two questions-
1. For the guys who went to 14" apes on the crossbones, what length over stock do I need for cables and lines?
Also, magnum shielding shows two different types of front frake lines, a swivel fit or a single brake? I know I only have one front brake, but what is the difference between the two, which one do I need?

IMO If you are going with 14" with no change in risers, the +2 and +3 should work fine, as your original bars were 12". The +6 and +7 seem kind of excessive to me. I think they'd be a little too loopy and in front of your face. But, regardless, I'd measure the total length you need. And then measure again to be sure. If you have your new bars already, wrap them in cardboard and you can mock the up between the old bars and the top springs (have a buddy help you, or tape them to old bars). Take string/twine or whatever and run the route you want then calculate the difference
The only difference in the brake lines is that the swivel will allow for any changes in clock position of the end fittings so it won't bind. I think you'll be safe either way. The swivel doesn't look bad at all and will be in the position where the bracket holds it to the back of the fork.
