Default Detachable sideplates for '03 Fatboy

Somebody set me straight on this. To use the detachable sideplates (part # 53810-00B) for my 2003 Fatboy, I won't have to relocate the rear turn signals, right?

Get barebacks, they are much less obtrusive. As far as relocation on the Harley plates I don't know. Call the shop for discounted pricing.

Drew

Edited: I was thinking saddlebag plates. Hello, must have had a long day yesterday. LOL.

I have the quick disconnect set up on my '02 Fat Boy. I also run Bare Backs to mount my saddlebags, and relocated my stock turn signals. I just went out to the garage and slipped on my sissy bar. I think it would hit the stock turn signals since the locking mechanism covers the chrome plugs where the front bolt on the stock turn signal mount were.

Pretty much answers my question. Thanks Northside.

Drew, appreciate the endorsement of the Barebacks. Not looking at mounting saddlebags just yet, just exploring my options for mounting a quick detach sissybar on the bike when I have a passenger.

If you cut off nub on the plates it will clear the stock signals.

Been posted on here many times.

I'd appreciate it if you could post the pics.
