I think stock my XB would fail the test!

The last time I took my Sporty in for an inspection, they asked me to honk the horn and show them my turn signals... I had the horn...told them I use hand signals for turning...then they checked my brake light and then put the sticker on...
BTW I was running straight drag's....

The XB was easier... we just talked about what I had done to it... and that was it!

I have riden all over DFW area and have never been asked about the tall Apes. I run the 20" Carlini Gangsters with 3" risers.

 

Tomorrow is the big day! god damm i cannot wait! im getting carlinis 17's i need to decide on risers... dont know yet, RSands, Wild1's, carlinis, not being rich sucks *****...

 

ive never had any issues in the dallas metroplex or up north near Garland Plano area where i live. always a slight possiblity someone may scratch you for renewal come inspection time but i highly doubt it.

i just paid for the bars!!!!!! god damm im pumped!

i ended up getting carlini evil apes 17's with 1'' risers.... off to order cables, and tranny gasket.

i should be getting the bars mid week.

 

congrats on the evil apes real nice purchase. You will love the feel and look of them. A lot a people like the other styles but i get a lot off thumbs up from people when they see the evil apes. I ordered all my cables and wires theough jonny at hdbikesparts.com . tell him what riser and bars and what bike you have and every thing fits bang on. Dont forget to solder wires.
