I put a rear mount, Ness adjustable kickstand on mine. With the stand at its shortest position, and the bike slammed, the bike was damn close to vertical. I cut the kickstand down some and it's better now.
It sits more straight up, but just make sure your front wheel is turned to the left and you will be fine. Or, you can get a cross bones or deluxe kickstand and that will be 1" lower. I got a cross bones stand on mine. I'll get some pics later on so you can get the idea of how it sits with the lowered stand although I had the regular stand on there for 2 years with no issue.

Thanks drew, I've got a list of goodies I'm gonna be ordering from you, here in the next week or two.
Yep on my Deluxe i have no problems when my bike is slammed because of the -1" stand....thier are several companies that sell shortened stands...HD,ArlenNess,ect....
