Default Anyone get rid of front turn signals?

Just bought an '01 Deuce to play with while my '68 Ironhead is on the injured reserve. Working on going "minimalist" and wondering if anyone has successfully removed their front turn signals. I read some other posts about issues with security systems and such. There's a guy with a Dyna that did it, but wondering if any softail riders out there successful. My old Ironhead has a total of 4 wires, so my new (to me) Deuce is a little scary right now. Thanks in advance.

I knowwhat you mean. I had a '68' Sportster and things were sure simpler back then. Might be a good time on the Deuce to put mirrors with turn signals in them. Good look, I think. The Deuce is a good looking machine. Have fun with that project.

Yup! That's what I did on my Fatty when I changed the bars. I put on the black mirrors with integrated turn signals. Much cleaner look than the bug eyes.

No problems with Security system either. The rears blink perfectly fine and security is good.

Did you just trace the wires and unplug?

No problem. Good luck! Much cleaner without them up front.

I had all kinds of issues when I removed mine, mainly with the security system, but the check eng light and entire dash went kinda wacky.had to put on a load equalizer to make it work right
