i just bought a 98 fatboy w/6600 miles on it ,now i have a few qeations i was looking for a softail custom but i like the wider front end on the fatboy so i need to know what i can do to make the bike look like i want it to and what parts are swapable,and any pics to go along would be great

1-will the rear fender of a normal softail fit it?
2-i would like to get drag bars for it what hight riser should i get ?
3-why some seats say my bike is excluded is it the rear fender?
4-how hard is it to fit forward controls on it i dont like the floor boards

and any other info would be great on the bike

As far as I know, the Fatboy rear fender should be interchangeable with any other Softail rear fender from 1984 to 1999. It's funny that you mention it, because I've got a Springer Softail that I'm looking to switch from the bobbed rear fender to the fatboy rear fender.
