Default 2010 Heritage Softail Classic upgrades?

Greetings. I have a new stock Heritage Softail and am considering upgrades. Especially with the exhaust/pipes. Any advice out there on the best bang for the buck--in performance mainly? I'd also like some louder sound than the stock staggered exhaust pipes that came standard.

I have a Cobra 2 into 1 exhaust, it is louder, but not too loud. Can hear on acceleration, but not when cruising. Performance is better also.

I like my Thunderheader, although sometimes even I think it is loud...

+1 on V & H BSS. I have a pair on my '08 Heritage and I love them. Great sound and performance.

Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the SoftSide. I have Bub Seven slip-ons on my bike and love the sound. They are deep but not overly loud and produce tremendous torque (see below)for just slip-ons. Good luck to you.

Mind if I ask what that all ran you? Did you need to get the bike retuned as well?
