Is it ok to use windex on my new windsheild? What other cleaning products are good?

I don't think you are suppose to use a product like Windex on Lexan since it has ammonia in it.
I use S100 Special Surface Cleaner on my windshield....works great.

I've never used anything but soap, water and a chamois. If stuff like bugs are caked on a wet towel over it for awhile takes care of it.

Have been using ammonia free Glass Plus Window Cleaner. Spray the shield with a hose first, let it soak. Spray window cleaner on it, wipe and rinse.

Be sure to clean the windshield using vertical strokes. I read an artical in AI magazine about how horizontal strokes make vision through the windshield more difficult over time. I'll try to find the artical information so you can chack it out. Pretty interesting stuff that I had never considered.

+ 1 on S100 Special Surface Cleaner. Works great and along with the appropriate cloths, will not damage your Lexan Windshield over time.
