Default Cross bones Leather cover for under seat plastic

You know that PLASTIC peace under the solo seat? I F****N hate the look of plastic on an expensive motorcycle so I decided to change it. I had very few options so I decided to have it covered in Leather. I picked it up today and I like the look. I will post pics tomorrow when it's light outside.

Don't know what Harley was thinking putting that huge piece of plastic on a bike designed to look like a 1940s bobber.

Probably to cut cost down, or just simply to **** us off. The cover is not bolted down as of now.

Kudos for trying something uncommon. Personally I don't know that I like it. I realize that the geometry of the thing makes it hard to get a nice tight fit on the leather. If I ever feel like I want to lose the plastic look on mine I think I would probably hit it with a coat of gloss black paint which should help hide the fact that it is in fact plastic.

Maybe if you were able to integrate some of the stitch pattern from the seat into the cover? It might help to unify it more.
