Not a bad idea. Personally, I wouldn't go that route though. I actually kinda like the one with the bandanna (Cheesecake?). Been considering it myself. Did you use something like 3M spray trim adhesive??
What irks me the most though, is that the POS plastic seat pan actually made it past the final design team at the Motor Company. But then, someone there probably thought "well, why don't we make it in plastic so we can charge $150 later for a metal one??" in which the rest of the team replied "Brilliant!"

I ran it that way for he few K and then I had it covered in brown leather to match the seat.... I need to find my camera and post a few new pictures of her... she continues to evolve...
