Default crossbones oil tank swap

Dear Xboners, anyone know any owner who has changed his stock horseshoe oil tank for something a little more old school - finned and oval perhaps? I'm thinking about something from these guys, check their cutoms oil tanks out -

Any advice?

You should be able to make any tank made for a late model softy fit. Doesn't get much more old school than the wrap around horseshoe.

I was going to do that about a year ago. It can be done, but it aint gonna be easy with all that electrical crap under there.

I've got a round tank on mine (well, it's round on one side and 3/4 round on the other). Fitment was pretty straight forward. You'll have to make new oil lines. I just used rubber, buy you could get fany with braided or copper I suppose.
