Gorgeous bike. Not familiar with this particular year, did the engine come chromed stock?

 

I got Clevis Pin out with a bunch of jiggery pokery only to find the stock brake pedal stuck on its shaft. I wanted to change to the billet pedal from stock so I decided to avoid the hassle and rode to the dealer. Their tech swapped the pedals out and I only had to pay 1/2 hour labor. I considered that a bargain considering the hassle of dealing with that little pin.

 

C-clamp was $2.87 at Harbor Freight, pin was out in 5 mins. Great tip.

 

Fought with this for a couple hours and found this old thread... hope this will help someone else.
$3 clamp and a socket did the trick, i found electrical tape did the trick to hold the socket on the clamp. Keep turning, It will make a pop and come right out.
