Had been having problems with low idle after riding and coming to a stop...to the point of engine just shutting down. Since I'm familiar with cars/trucks and have had similiar issues with a previous truck, I figured it had something to do with the IAC valve. Reading on here, i found others with similiar problems.....I tried cleaning the IAC by spraying throttle body cleaner in there, but didn't seem to help. So this past Friday I replaced the IAC. Since I have a Thundermax ECM, I had to recalibrate the IAC after install, but so far the idle seems to be smooth again and idling normally after coming to a stop. The only thing that bothers me is that I have only 26k on the bike... things like IAC valves should last a lot longer than that...upwards of 100k on cars/trucks....maybe cuz it's a bike, don't know...
