Lowering my 07 fxst

Sure, buy an air ride if you've got upwards of a grand to spend on it.
Seriously, you won't get much advice unless you give more info than that. What's the budget, do you 2-up or solo, does comfort matter or just looks.
Once you decide how much to spend, hit the "search this forum" button and start reading. I've been kicking it around also and there's so much info it will make your eyes bleed.
Good luck, ride safe and welcome aboard.

Haven't done it myself, but for $100 you're probably looking at bolts.
Couple varieties: Need to press the shocks to change or Don't need to press the shocks to change.
Harley lowering bolts will only drop you up to an inch, but most aftermarkets will drop you up to 2".
A member named Kiwiduece did a good thread on it and he used $20 ebay bolts.

Just dropped mine 2" with $40 lowering studs and it is stiff. If you know anyone that has one dropped 2" i would take it for a spin because riding solo is a bitch, 2 up isnt as bad because there is more weight to help compress whats left of your shock. I love the look but will be going to air-ride this coming winter.
