Default Advice please

Does anyone have a suggestion for a sissy bar for a Fatboy Lo? I am looking for one that will hold a rear facing bag so I dont know if it needs the built in rack or not. I would like a black on but I can always powdercoat it later. Thanks for the help!

I think I've seen a picture of the black 1-piece detachable bar from H-D mounted on a Lo but I can't find it right now. It is part number 52729-08. If anyone has pictures of another similar bar mounted, I'd like to see them too.

So, do you have to have the rack if you want to put a bag on the sissy bar?

If you want the bag to sit on the fender a rack is not necessary.

+1 That's what I've got and it looks GREAT! I use it to hold a small tbag like a truck. I put the fender bib on the bike so that the bags can rest on that instead of the paint.

jbg,

I must have looked at the picture in your signature 40 times and never noticed the bar. I've seen another picture around here somewhere that shows a little more of it. Still can't find that one. BTW, love those pipes.

I think DaveFLSTFB's is the best looking I have seen. Have not figured out a part number yet. see it here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...lo-owners.html
