Default hd tri bar tailight or kuryakyn lay down

trying to decide on a tailight. I have the dove tail style fender. Anyone have any thought, opions or suggestions on the HD tri bar tailight or the Kuryakyn lay down led. Is one any easier to install or work better then the other? Thanks for the info.

The HD tribar is really bright. My buddy with a night train has it. But, that JM setup is really nice too.

Default Tri-Bar LED

HD Tri-Bar all the way. I love the looks of this thing and had it installed on delivery. I made it part of the deal.

I installed my tr-bar in 1/2 hour. It would have been faster but my rear is lowerd and it's hard to squeeze my hand in there. I wouldn't buy any other.

I wish someone would create a tail light bracket with the plate deleted. Yes, you can cut the stock plastic piece...but that can look haggard. ...and the HD tri-bar can have the plate removed, but it looks too funny/modern on the bones.

Ive seen a few people have cut off the tag but with the bobtail fender I think it looks awkward. It goes out too far with nothing under it.
My joker machine plate can be unbolted and just the light would be there but it looked funny

Thumbs up Tail light

I have the Kuryakyn Tail light and although i quite liked the tri bar i didnt think it suited my C Bones . The tail light is easily bright enough and was only a fraction of the price in my mind it was well worth the money .Sorry for the i phone pics.

This is good to know. I think once you get used to it, it wouldn’t look funny. I, like some, want to run a swing-arm or axle run/brake/license, but still want to keep the bobtail run/brake light in order to increase our visibility for the blind cagers, but completely removing the light and license plate on a bobtail, well, that really looks funny.

I had a lay down for a while before my jm and liked it real well with the bobtail .It was a custom chrome. It was black around the outside and clear on the lens. it had red LEDs and was BRIGHT. I liked the lines with it
