I did a quick check into getting an electronic cruise control for my bike awhile back and I think it was going to cost about a grand or a little more to buy it and have it installed. That is if you bought it from Harley and had them install it.
I don't know about you but I don't need a cruise control that bad.

Just be sure you are on an open road with clear vision. It is nice to be able to take your throttle hand off for a bit of a rest now and again. Besides....makes the others really look when you wave back with your right hand!!!!

If you decide not to spend the big bucks try one of these......works great, I use one all the time. Just a flip with your thumb or index finger and it's on/off. I'm not big into screwing around with the wires in my handlebars/grip housings. Good Luck!

I use something similar to the throttle rocker ( Barefoot *******) and its alot cheaper but does the job just as well.
All you do is pre-adjust the OEM throttle tension star and then snap this on to it. Takes a whole 2 minutes to setup and install!
You can easily override this by just turning the throttle up manually in an emergency.

Yea I noticed that, I bought one, put it on my bike....next trip I took a friend asked me about it so when I got home I looked it up to send him the web address and noticed that the price went up. Still allot cheaper than the electronic version and it works really well.

I just added cruise to my 12 Road Glide that parts minus 20% and labor was $151.
I was surprised and would also like to add it to my FXSTC. I was just the right hand grip and controls. I think the wires from it just plug into an existing connector in the touring bikes so it may be more for other families.
I had not done any checking yet.
