man doc is there knothing you don`t know, what kinda cable do you have and can you get for me just about to pull trigger on carnilli`s only going 12 and one in riser

It took me about 8 hours to do mine. I removed the tank when I did it, but like the others have said it can be done without.

Good idea to lay a sleeping bag or something over the tank before loosening the bars onward.

Great information everyone!!! Still have a question about the cable lengths and the difference between the cables??? the Stainless braided lines don't stretch.....right??

They do not stretch. You should need +6" cables for 14" apes. Call the shop and we can them ordered. We sell Magnum sterling chromite II's. Less expensive than the Harley Diamond backs and far nicer.

Doc your the best..... From all the responses I have read you and your team go the extra mile. I will definitely order from you.

I know it's all an opinion thing, but what type of apes do u recommend for quality, strength, and the all important long lasting sparkle??

What height and style do you want? It really depends on that. There are numerous options availalble. Do you wnat 1.25" diameter or 1.5" diameter? Classic look or new squared off look? The questions could go on but I am sure you get the idea.
