Heritage - Front saddlebag support bolt broke
I have an '09 Heritage with 20K on it. I just noticed that the front bolt that holds the saddlebag on the bike has broken in two. It's not one of the ones that goes in the bag, it's the one that connects the metal support in front of the bag. I imagine it's covered under warranty. I will soon find out. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you are talking about the one that is 2 bolts connected via a rubber bushing, they are only like $5.00 at the dealer. They seperate all the time (typically due to dropping the bike or a load in the bag that cause the bag to shift around)
Not a big deal.
And Yes, I replaced one as well. I also have one in a drawer somewhere as it isn't used with the rear peg relocation kit (it is replaced by a piece of angle iron in that mod.

I broke one of those the first time I removed my bags. They aren't expensive, about three or four bucks. Tip: Don't put the nut back on very tight. It's a locking thread and won't come off. You can take a small chisel and get the back part off then put a new one on. Not hard to do. Buy the new one first and you'll see what you need to do.
