thanks so much for the quik reply oldgeezer.. I figured the HD store was just trying to make a few more dollars off me.. I too am 5'5" , does she still have the stock seat?

Colin, the Deluxe already had 4 inch risers on it stock..

Colin, the Deluxe already had 4 inch risers on it stock..
She has the stock seat. With the bars, engine guard and highway pegs, she gets pretty comfortable riding down the highway. Here's a picture.

I'm also a short rider and have always had that problem. On my new (to me) '07 Heritage I just sloped them back and they're great. I didn't do anything as far as risers go. When I had my Streetbob they came with Streetslammers which really had me stretched out and I ended up getting some pullback bars from Wild Ones which helped but they didn't come as far back as my Heritage bars. I also changed my seat from stock to a C&C Fastback and I had them make me lower and a little more forward so that had something to do with it as well. Seems Heritage bars are pretty popular on touring bikes for people that want the reach so that may be what you're looking for. Good luck.

thanks for posting the pic.. I have an 06,, are all the heritage year bars the same? do I need to get a certain year? I am going to call around to try to get one by the weekend..
