Default Heritage Softail slip-ons

I'm in the market to put different slip-ons on my 2003 Heritage Softail Classic. I need more sound!!!! What is a good brand to go with and will I need to do anything else to the bike?
ie. air filter, tuning, etc.

There's a lot of choice out there. I went with Rush (1 3/4" baffles). Nice sound and I didn't have to tune. Probably will change intake and tune later but it's a nice addition either way. They have quite a choice of baffles too.

Thanks GMAN. I was looking at RUSH pipes as well. I appreciate the input.

RUSH,,,,, I have 2'' and love them.... and have for going on 4yrs,,, started to change but couldn't find anything I liked better....
they are now saying go 1 3/4 if nothing else is done... I went with 2'' because i did stg1 and cams.... not sorry 1 bit and have never looked back....

nice rumble at idle, mild at steady speed and roar when U get on it with a deep sounding note... what more could a harley owner want...

Add..... they're not as good as a good 2-1 system, but then U'll need to do a F/M system and dyno tune to get the peak numbers out of it and make her run better. Worth it if U have the $$.

The Rush should get U 5more HP and 2-3 #'s of Tq.
Heres their site.

lots of happy owners of them in here.

Default slip ons

cycle shack slip ons rated very good on the performance end and sound good as well. i bought my 05 deluxe in 2004 first year available and there was nothing for exhaust for about a year. Cycle shack was one of the first to offer a slip on in fact first to have any thing. ran them two seasons and was very happy with the sound
