Default NT problem with lowering kit

When I bought this bike it was already lowered 2" The suspension is way to stiff, and when I make right turns the V&H 2 into 2 pipes scraps the asphalt when I turn left the drive belt case scraps the asphalt.
Also I want my wife to ride with me but she says the seat is to uncomfortable what can I do to fix these problems? Any good seat recommendations would be appreciated.

You should be able to adjust the pre-load on the shocks to make the ride a little better. I used the lowering bolts on mine, but didn't lower it as far as it would go (about 75%). The ride is not as good as it was but tolerable. Especially compared to my rigid.

I have my rear lowerd 2-1/2" and the front is stock but I haven't had any clearence problems. As far as your wife's riding comfort, you may want to get another seat for 2 up riding. My wife isn't to cool with the badlander either.

your lowering bolts should adjust from anywhere from 1"-2". Try raising it up so that it is only lowered an inch. You will be suprised how much better it rides for both of you.

You nee an air ride and a comfortable seat and possibly a backrest to make the little lady feel comfortable.

What can I expect to pay for an air ride suspension?

Anywhere from $600-$1600. Do yourself a favor and invest a good quality unit. I have the shotgun shock on mine and LOVE IT! I ride it damn near on the snubbers and the only thing I drag in turns is my rear stand and gremlin bell that's attached to the from control bracket.

The one thing I don't understand is why people ride their system down so low. I have the Platinum which has the same operation as the Shotgun (ride height and pressure and rebound) and I never ride it slammed. I slam it when I park. But to each their own! I agree invest in a good quality system that does not do ride height alone, but also allows adjustment of rebound. Platinum Bleed Feed or Shotgun are the two in this category.

To me being able to ride without worrying about scraping is half the beauty of an air ride. park it and slam it for bad *** looks.

Here's my bike slammed. On the fly adjustability is nice too.
