And even the 36's can get awkward at times...

Thought I would post some new ones we made for a customer, they are at the powder coater now.
These bars have zero pullback, are 4" tall and 26" wide, about as short and tight as we could make them. Made of 1" and 1-1/4" DOM steel with a .120 wall thickness.
Will post more once they are mounted if ok with our customer.

I like those slammers - I wonder how they'd look on a Slim...?

Well, I'd say this thread has stood the test of time.... 2 1/2 years.

I am a beach bar fan. I like the look and the pullback allows me to sit more upright when riding.

They are HD beach bars, part 55967-08
Width: 36"
Rise: 2.5"
Pullback: 14"

The bars are sitting on the Fat bar riser kit, HD part 56916-07. It has 3.6" rise.

Default 1.25 Burly Bikini Bars HELP!

I was going to order the HD beach bars ( Sat on a bike at the dealer and loved how they felt) but worried about the risers that you had to buy for them (3.5 inch rise) and I worried that it would not work when I Installed my freight train headlight nacelle So i ordered the burly 1.25 bikini bars. Can you guys tell me if this will achieve the same low look and will they be confortable on my 2003 fatboy? It is not too late for me to order the HD beach bars if i can make them work with my headlight nacelle? Thoughts, pictures and advice greatly appreciated guys!

According to the 2013 HD Parts and Accessories catalog, the Freight train headlight nacelle kit will work with the Burly bars or the HD beach bars. But, either handlebar requires the separate purchase of different risers (HD part 56789-05). The new risers are 0.8" lower than stock fatty risers.

The HD website won't allow me to obtain links right now. Sorry.
