Are you referring to the stock exhaust on an 06 Springer Softail Classic? Note: Heritage Springers were only produced from 1997 to 2003.

If it's the same, the older Screaming Eagle mufflers (if you can find a set) will increase the volume.

Other recommendations are:
Samsons
Kerker
Cycleshack
Rush
Supertrapp
Rinehart

No, let's be perfectly clear. It's a Softail Springer Classic. Not Heritage. You'll have to forgive me for being this way, but it bothers me when bikes, cars, etc are referred to incorrectly. It's yours and you should know EXACTLY what it is.

It's a nice bike in it's own right, and probably relates better to the bikes it was designed after more so than does the Heritage Springer, but differs enough from the typical "heritage" lineage (black forks, no passing lamps, black oil tank, etc.) [/rant off]

So, back to task at hand, mufflers.

Do you care about the style of the muffler? What kind of tip (or end) to you like? How much do you want to spend? What sound are you looking for? Deep rumble, stock car, etc??

There are a lot of options with exhaust. Go the to the dealer and check out the Drag Specialties fatbook or check their website. find one you like the look of and ask us how it sounds/performs. It really is a personal choice with exhaust, thus the thousands of choices available.

I have the Cycle Shacks on mine....bought it that way. I love the sound and have got lots of compliments. I will eventually be changing the whole system, but reluctant because it sounds so great.
