Anybody have moisture problems in speedo?

Seems to come and go on both fuel and speedo gauge. I just live with it.

I finally got sick of water stains in my 5 year old one and replcaed this evening with the nostalgic version.

If It lasts for 5 years i will be stoked!!

Default Tachs too!!!!
Every Harley Tach (4 so far since 2001) I have ever had has had horrible condensation problems. Bike is kept in a finished insulated garage. So far I have not had the same problem with my Speedo(s).

My answer to nasty water spotted speedo....

New Nostalgic speedo. Zero miles. $140.00. E-Bay. I wont even bother sending it to be programmed. I aint selling anytime soon!


I gots zero miles on my 5 year old turd!! Yesss..... Not for long. Headed out the dorr in 20 minutes. Beautifal day in Colorado Springs today!

I have an 07 Fat Boy with the exact same problem, mositure at the bottom of the speedo. I'll disassemble one of these days and clean it up.

My Vulcan 750 is 16 years old and doesn't have moisture in the speedo or tach, at least my HD doesn't have moisture in the tach, oh yeah Harley doesn't put a tach on these, my bad.

I have also that problem. My Dealer here in Germany told me as well it is normal.

I have a '99 and the problem existed then too, and still does. At times I have a small amount build up in the fuel gaure. It clears up when the air temp heats up after a cool morning.
