You are right. Hadn't thought about that axis tube. As you can tell, I have not done this, but had looked at it for future reference. Missed that tube all together. Now I know. Thanks. Always learning something new on here.

 

I'm doing the 30T pulley mod to my 07 FXSTC, and I'm at this step right now, trying to get the old belt off.

Is there anything I need to know when removing the swing arm axle & spacer?

Are there any parts that should be replaced 'while I'm in there'?

There's not parts to replace on the swingarm axle and spacer. Just back them out enough to slip the belt past.

The real job is the inner/outer primary and clutch hub assembly.
