yes it is but spring im getting the bike finished for the bike show january 20th i always ride there ..although its a double edge sword i drive a plough truck so i want it to snow but i ride so i dont want it to snow lol

look what i got today its a heritage springer seat rail

couldnt wait i had to come home at lunch anmd install it

Heh heh, nice. I really like what you've done. Those fenders absolutely rock on there.

How much did you drop from stock seat height with that one on there? I can barely touch the ground on a stock Bones.

your x bones looks great.
I am a lurker/noob but wanted to say the work you are doing is awesome!
This thread is addicting....like a great tv show. Cant wait fornext episode.
I do have a quick questuion. Where did you get the front fender? I hsve an xbones and really like your front fender. Im sorry if you already mentioned this in your post... But 14 pages tio read through is tough. I like pictures anyways.

wow 14 pages i wouldnt read that much either lol thats why i post so many pics..
front fender was on ebay it was new from los vegas HD it had a paint chip and couldnt go on a bike so they put it on ebay..i scored as i only paid $99.00 plus shipping. theres a lot more to this conversion than just a fender..besides the fender,and fender light expect to order about $200.00 worth of misc small parts.also there is a write up on this conversion but most who have done had a dealer or indy do the work,and dont actually know what was done to make it work.the xbones has been upgraded and is a superior system as a result..do your homework and ask any questions you might have..

almost 3"
i had the 1925 style xbones seat and it also lowers the seat height by 1" and looks better too

Your crossbones looks like I designed my dream Harley. Every single thing I'd want - no pinstripes, gloss paint, full fender, Deluxe seat. That's pretty much perfect.
