Put the plate on the back of your jacket! Would make some great protection. Although you would slide forever...

What do those little vespa type scooters use?
Body, these LP's are pretty good for tailgate partys: 3 eggs a bunch of bacon

A license plate per year, each year a different color.

Do the vespas have to have that big of a plate on though?

Yeah those license plates would make for a nice griddle though instead of just a boogie board. You could utilize them in many aspects of life,.. LOLOL!!

easy answer --> anything other than stock (european stock) sound level is not permitted if you register the bike in Germany. HOWEVER if your bike does not have a german licence plate you are not bound to the german registration and TUV laws

When I was living in germany I left my bike registered to a UK address.

In theory as long as your bike is not registered to germany the german police cannot book you for not following their laws. Both cars and bike registration/TUV laws only really apply to those cars/bikes registered in said country. There are exceptions when it comes to endangering life and such, or if you vehicle is unsafe of such (or say you are driving a armored tank which is not permissible on public roads).

Nowadays they are quite strict with "noise pollution" and this has happened to foreign bikes with loud pipes also:

That sucks big time then.

As much as I agree that there are bikes that sport exhausts that are too loud but I think they should allow more than presently is allowed.

I don't know when you have been in Germany last, but today there is EU law above German law. As long as you will have a EU registered vehicle you will be under EU law executed by the local police departments. And noise pollution is regulated by EU law.

When I got my last ticket in London 22 years ago I threw it into the river Thames - now I have to pay it otherwise it will be executed in Berlin too
