Default 04 Duece Oil Light Stays on

Anyone have an idea why the oil light stays on my '04 Softail Duece? I tried draining some oil & adding some oil but it doesn't help. The light flickers but stays on constantly.

My guess would be the sending unit. Get a pressure gauge so you know for sure you have pressure. If you pull the oil tank filler plug you should see oil spitting out the return line while its running.
