Default new exhaust

I installed my new (used) exhaust today, D&D Fatcat. I like the looks, sounds ok. I'm not sure if I like it more than my previous Hooker Tuned Flow 2-1. I changed due to all the good things people have to say about the Fatcat on this forum. I was hoping for a increase in power numbers (after tuning). Fit and finish is the best I have used. But based off what I have read, I thought it would be louder (not sure what baffle is in it). I only put about 5 miles on the bike after install, so hopefully it grows on me. I realized the other concern I had about the Fatcat, with the first right hand corner I took. Scrapes like crazy, guess I will have to raise the rear up a little for clearance.
What do you guys think about looks, power?
Sorry I'm rambling.

I just put one on my fatcat on Thursday. Compared to the drag pipes I was running the new power is insane. I have air ride so it has not scraped. I am very happy withthe fit and finish of the pipe and it was a piece of cake to install. I love the wya it looks, that huge can is the shiznit. Now the sound was a lot quieter than I am used to as well. I got the standard baffle that looks kind of like a cheese grater. I ahd a couple of friends over on Friday and we compared the loudness of my pipe to both of theirs. One has a Supertrapp 2 into 1 which is quiet and my bike is way louder. The other guy has Vance and Hines power duals with Vance and Hines slip on's. My bike is louder and sounds better than those too. I think there is an adjustment period to get used to the new sound. I took the bike for a nice couple of hundred ride on Saturday and have become used to the new sound. I really like it. But every time I put on new pipes I go through the same thing. I think they are too quiet if they are not straight through drag pipes. My ears will thank me in 20 years for the fatcat. Here is a pic of my baffle, the satndard baffle.

I must have the standard baffle, cause my looks just like the picture you posted. I need to get the bike jetted and on the dyno. To see if it was worth the greenbacks.
Dr. V-twin, I'm pretty sure I saw a tread with all the pipes you had on your bike. That's a good looking ride you have there.

I don't have the fatcat, running the V&H propipe. I think the fatcat look is growing on me, headpipes look just like mine, just has the big azz can on it.

Looks good.

That pipe totally fits your bike. The pipes slash cut follows the lines of the rear fender back portion.

I just installed a fatcat with standard baffle on my bike. Very well made. Nice fit and finish but I dont know about the sound. I think that my V&H BSS sounded way better. The fatcat sounds good at WOT but at idle and cruise kinda sounds like a honda-davidson to me!!
