wheel for 200mm tire
What works better,a 17x6.25 or18x5.5?Want to replace hideous rear wheel that came on 2006 softail standard.Would like both to be same type, spoke or mag.I want to keep it a 200mm tire.
Thanks

I don't know the best rim size but the tire guy should know. When I wear out my 200, I plan on going to a 180 as it should go through the turns better.

Either will work. There are more brands of tire available for the 18" wheel. You could also get an 1*x6 or 6.25 or 6.5.

I went with the 18x5.5...the bigger rim fills the fender out better to me. The half inch width lost would only help expand the inner wall of the tire.
Should be here soon too
Thanks Dr V
