Another +1 for the Garmins. As above they are made in the USA and Garmin has one line of business. If their GPSs sucked, they'd be gone because that's all they do.

i have the Magellan 2200t motorcycle gps with 7 hr battery. ram mount. the gps has older maps but that is all i need for back roads. the sell for about $50 used on ebay. they have altitude also and a lot other features i dont use. mostly i use the 3d mode and it tells me better how the curve in the road is before i get to it

My Zumo 660 came with a wiring harness with terminals to come off the battery. I use my GPS for both the car and my bike. Being that the Zumo 660 is waterproof and Bluetooth compatible, it’s great for the bike, but it's pricy. Found that Chicago H-D had the best price.

Garmin Nuvi with the Ram handlebar mount. Bought a cig lighter pigtail and dress the power under the console, under the tank bib, to under the seat.
