OK, I was wiping the bugs off yesterday after about 325 miles and I found some light scratching on the left side of my tank. Its about the size of my pinky nail. Its not one scratch, but a mass of little ones, looks like a rock skipped up from the inside of my leg. They aren't real bad, and I know I could get them out of glossy paint, but is there a way to do it on denim?

 

Sorry to have to tell you, but no, can't get them out of denim paint. If you use polish your denim becomes gloss.

 

Yeah, I am up on the not using polishes, just curious if someone had found something that works. I did find in searching the net, that on another forum someone said there is a section in the service manual outlining the care and repair of denim paint. Can someone with the service manual verify?

 

harley just came out with a demin cleaning product spray and wipe check it out
