Are the Screaming Eagle Pipes Louder than the SE2 slip-ons?
Getting ready to trade my Slip-ons in for the full cha cha on my 05 Fatboy.

 

OK - I had to find out on my own.
I replaced the SE2 slip-ons with the Screaming Eagle Pipes.

I like the Pipes over all, because of how they look, and because they don't roast my wife’s right ankle.
BUT - the slip-ons sounded better - no question!
The slip-ons were a bit meaner sounding, and they had a much nicer sounding low-end.
This is also the opinion of my good bro who has been riding with me since I got this bike.

 

Nice job. When all else fails do it yourself.

Did you lose any power?

 

No loss or gain.
Now that I've put a few miles on the new pipes they seem to be a bit
louder with a deeper low-end. Not sure if that's the case - or if it's just wishful thinking!
