That's a rocker that certainly stands out in the crowd. looks like that sissy bar is meant to be there.

Looks great. I agree with others that it looks great painted. Somehow I would work on getting the cross chromed and keep the rest blue. Either way, it looks great. Nice work!

Rocket, what are the dimensions of the sissy bar? How tall is it from the swing arm to the top and how wide is it at the bottom? I was looking to order one from Ginz at some point, but I like the way yours looks better.

Were you going to order the bracket that mounts under the seat (solo seat) or the one that mounts on the fender (universal)? The solo seat version looks like it would be too close, but it is stable as the swing arm moves; while the fender mount has the best look, but looks like it moves with the fender.
